Installation of your garagecover made of PVC braid tarpaulin

Please read the installation instructions from beginning to end before you start, as there are dependencies opposite to the order.

The basic cleaning of the garage door should already have taken place.

We come to you and install your garagecover, within a radius of about 50km from Mönchengladbach. Talk to us.

Cleaning the adhesive surfaces on the garage door with a strong alcoholic cleaning agent, e.g. Isopropanol, as the adhesive surface must be absolutely free of dirt and grease. Isopropanol can also be found in our shop under "Accessories".

4x measure the velcro (hook side)

4x crop

Glue the Velcro without pulling on the slats top and bottom.

Stick the Velcro tape on the two vertical goal frames.

Place the tarp with the printed side on a clean, dust-free surface and clean the sides with isopropanol. Make sure that the cleaning agent does not come into contact with the printed side.
Then you cut the Velcro (Velcro side) on the 4 side lengths, and glue the tape on.
Now, the Velcro tape on both sides (tarpaulin and garage door) for about 60 min. be given the opportunity to enter into a permanent liability.

Now you put the tarpaulin on the upper horizontal. So that no "wave" arises, you go either from left to right or vice versa. The Velcro strip must be "hooked" over its entire surface.

Now you attach the garagecover on both sides from top to bottom.

Now you make a cross cut at the height of the closing mechanism and the lock with a sharp blade (cutter knife or scalpel). Do not scratch the knob!

Now the corners are cut and pushed under the knob. If you want to fix the cut edges, you can fix it with a flat double-sided tape.

Alternatively, you can also remove the knob before -> install the garage cover -> make a small cut into it -> and then attach the knob again at the end. (Not shown here)

Finally, the lower horizontal comes to it.

And your garagecover is done!
